Duct Work

Ducts are used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) to deliver and remove air. These needed airflows include, for example, supply air, return air, and exhaust air as well as ventilation air. Ducts are one way of ensuring acceptable indoor air quality as well as thermal comfort. A duct system is often called ductwork. Planning, sizing, optimizing, detailing, and finding the pressure losses through a duct system is called duct design.

It's often said that to do something right, you have to get back to the basics. Sometimes, the basics involve putting aside what you think to be true, and looking at it from a different perspective.
